This information contains the mapping layer attributes used to theme the layer.

Source ID:

The ID used behind the scenes to identify the source of the data.

Database:

Oracle or SQL Server database name.

Schema:

Schema name.

Table:

Actual database table the data lives in.

Key Column:

The primary key field name for that data.

Theme Column:

The column name of the field that contains the data from which to theme.

An example from the Hud Income polygon layer demonstrates the use of the theme data above. The two most important fields in this table are the Key Column and the Theme Column. The Key Column is the field that relates to the key field in the Primary Data Source table. The theme column is the column that contains the attribute field which houses the data used to theme.

For example, the Theme Column contains the field name, FieldName. Every record in the table has data in FieldName that contains a number, for example. Therefore, the mapping layer will display a white polygon if FieldName has a value between 0.0 and 17.2.

The theme below shows what color each polygon will have for each themed value in the FieldName field.
