You can deselect map features after you have selected them. You can deselect specific map features, or all map features.

 

Deselect All Map Features:

 

To deselect all features do one of the following:

 

•Right-click in the mapping window, and then choose Select > Select Clear from the popup menu. 

 

Go to Popup Menu - Pan

Go to Popup Menu - Print

Go to Popup Menu - Zoom

Go to Popup Menu - Bookmarks

Go to Popup Menu - SelectGo to Popup Menu - View

Go to Popup Menu - Help

Go to Select Map ObjectsGo to Select PolygonGo to Select RadiusGo to Select Within

 

•Or, press the <ESC> key.

 

Deselect One Map Feature:

 

To deselect one map feature while leaving the other features selected just shift-click the feature you want to deselect.
