You can draw a circle to select all map features that fall within that circular area.

 

Note: Click on any of the Popup Menu items below to view specific help for that topic.

 

To select map objects within a circular area, right-click in the mapping window and choose Select > Select Radius from the popup menu.

You mouse will become a digitized pointer within the mapping window.

 

To create the circular area do the following:

Press and hold the left mouse button on a center point, drag to define the radius, and then release the mouse button. 
When the pointer stops, the radius also appears as a tooltip, or MapTip.

 

All map features that are within the circular area are now selected.

 

To cancel a digitize action in progress right-click somewhere in the mapping window.
