The Center of Map information is located to the left of the gMap Status Bar. It contains several bits of information relating to the actual center point of the current map view.

 

 

X - Y: 

The center of the current map view in arbitrary XY coordinates corresponding to NAD83/91 WA State Plane, South Zone, US Foot.

Lon - Lat: 

The center of the current map view in longitude and latitude coordinates (in decimal degrees) using the NAD83 coordinate projection system.

Location: 

The county or city in which the center point of the current map view is located.

Power Srvc Area: 

Informs the user if the center point of the current map view is located within the City of Tacoma's Power service area. Currently disabled.

Water Srvc Area: 

Informs the user if the center point of the current map view is located within the City of Tacoma's Water service area.
