Copy - Map URL

The Copy - Map URL is one of several copy commands listed in the toolbar's Copy button in the top row toolbar to the far left.

Use this option to copy the URL of the current map view location to the clipboard. It includes the coordinate pair, XY, and the current map width in feet. The URL can then be pasted into a document or email as a hyperlink to the current map view's exact location, or pasted directly into the address bar in Internet Explorer. An example of what this looks like is:

Note: The layers currently turned on in the Layer Menu at the time of a Copy URL will not be turned on when this URL is activated in a new web browser window.
