Copy - Object Tooltip

The Copy - Object Tootlip is one of several copy commands listed in the toolbar's Copy button in the top row toolbar to the far left.

 

Go to Map DisplayGo to Map URLGo to Map ExtentsGo to Object IDs

 

Use this option to copy a map objects tooltip (Maptip) to the clipboard and then paste into a document or email, etc.

 

For example, to copy the tooltip for the sanitary sewer manhole, ID 6756272, select/highlight that manhole in the mapping window like below:

 

After you select Copy - Object Tooltip from the copy button you will then see an alert box like the following:
