Display Script Error

Some browsers do not show certain script errors automatically. Depending on how your computer is setup, you might see one of two things.

 

An error icon should show in the bottom left corner.

 

 

Or, a popup error window will be displayed.

 

 

If you suspect there is an error on a web page, and you do not see an error icon or popup message, however, you do want to be notified when such errors do occur, then do the following.

 

Change your Internet Explorer settings.

Open an Internet Explorer browser window
Open the "Tools" menu 

Click on the menu item titled "Internet Options"
Click the "Advanced" tab 

 

Look for the heading, "Browsing"
Check the box labeled, "Display a notification about every script error"
Click the OK button

To test this setting, click on this "invalid" drawing number, 190222202.

You should see the error icon in the bottom left corner of the browser window (see first image at the top of this topic). If you do not see the popup window then simply double-click on the error icon.

If you want to see the popup window automatically, then check the box indicated below:
